Don't Look Up

Adam McKay
Action

Presenting a satirical take on science-fiction, Don’t Look Up follows two astronomers who identify a comet that is on track to destroy planet earth. They must go on an extensive media tour to warn mankind of the impeding disaster, and face many hurdles in having the threat taken seriously. It acts as a powerful analogy for climate change, leaving audiences both frustrated and in stitches.

I wish they were joking

"This satirical movie highlights the incompetence, greed, and delusions of people in power whilst the experts struggle to be believed. A good watch if your ability to live in the chaos that is the world right now is starting to slip. The world really is this messed up. Could be applied to climate, covid, Palestine, etc. Disinformation and misinformation in peak form."
